LAUNCH: DRIFTING SANDS

When our favourite Airbnb on the West Coast calls and says “HELP! WE NEED A NEW WEBSITE STAT!” what do we do? We hustle!

We stayed at Drifting Sands last year and it was an absolute joy. Absolute beach frontage, pure luxury, and totally quirky in the best possible way. We loved it. We also loved Echo the dog and her mama, Claire, and stayed in touch.

Claire helped us fall madly in love with the West Coast, and Hokitika in particular. One year later I’m still plotting a return back, and wondering if it would make sense to move there. Yes, it really was that good.

This new website is clean, crisp, has very thoughtful UX, and allows Claire to escape the clutches of Wordpress. Her site is now safer and she has more autonomy over her own website. Thank you again, Squarespace.

This website is a great example of what we at WWD can do when we have a 2-day turnaround. We are fast, efficient, and love working under pressure.

If you’re planning a trip to the West Coast - please make sure to stop in Hokitika. If you’re staying overnight (we recommend at least a few), then you’d be crazy not to stay at Drifting Sands if your budget allows for it.
